Custom Shop St. John

This one-of-a-kind Custom Shop Offset by Abalone Eye started its life as a customised PJD St. John. Crafted here in the UK, the body features a custom hand carved top bevel adding extra depth to the flame maple top and has been hand painted by Abalone Eye designer Kim Turner.

Featuring a swamp ash body with flame maple top the guitar is finished with a gloss top and satin back and sides. The satin quarter sawn roasted flame maple neck is topped with a roasted malpe board and finished with gold Jescar EVO frets.

The Gotoh SD91 machine heads offer smooth stable tuning paired with the Gotoh GTC101 six saddle bridge, both finished in gold.

The UK made, hand wound Caydence Vega P90 in the neck offers a raw, punchy, articulate tone and the hand wound Caydence Krueger humbucker in the bridge delivers a thicker, warm, powerful output with great sustain.
